Hair is really important to women, it means so much to them, where they consider having shiny and healthy hair as a passport to beauty. Women just have half amount of 5 alpha reductase compared to men, but they have higher levels of the aromatase enzyme, particularly at the frontal hairline. Aromatase enzyme forms the female hormones estradiol and estrone which decreases the formation of DHT. This presence indicates that the exhibition of female hair loss is dissimilar in males.
