How does the LEIMO Personal Hair Laser Starter Kit prevent hair loss? It uses Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) to create a process known as Photo-Biostimulation. I recently had hair transplants, can I use LEIMO? Yes. Although the transplanted hair is theoretically resistant to the destructive effects of DHT, the hair follicles surrounding the transplanted area may still be genetically susceptible to DHT. If these hair follicles are not protected, they will eventually be lost resulting in additional transplants. 18. How long will I have to use the LEIMO Personal Hair Laser for? Laser therapy should be maintained everyday (10 minutes per day, 60 to 70 minutes per week) for the first year. This will ensure the maximum laser therapy results be delivered to your hair follicles. After this period, laser therapy can be used in a preventative maintenance mode – i.e. two to three times (2- 3x) a week (like flossing teeth). 19. Can I use the LEIMO Personal Hair Laser more than 10 minutes per day? No, only in circumstances where you have missed one or two days in the week period. Remember, the maximum recommended stimulation per week is 70 minutes. Therefore if you missed one to two (1 - 2) days worth of treatment, you can catch up by using the LEIMO Personal Hair Laser 20 to 30 minutes in one (1) session. 20. Do I have to leave the LEIMO Personal Hair Laser turned On all the time? The LEIMO Personal Hair Laser uses a cordless battery charging system that requires trickle charge technology to maintain the battery. If the battery in the laser is depleted consistently, long term battery life damage will occur. When not in use, the LEIMO Personal Hair Laser should be kept in the cradle with power supplied to the laser unit. 21. How long will I have to use the LEIMO Wet Products (LEIMO Bio Cleansing Shampoo, Thickening Conditioner, Scalp Therapy Day Treatment, Scalp Serum Night Treatment and Deep Cleansing Scalp & Body Scrub) for? DHT will start to reform as soon as you stop using the LEIMO products, so using them should be a daily activity just like brushing your teeth. 22. What happens if I stop using my laser or wet products? Without proper Photo-Biostimulation and DHT blocking, your hair will eventually return to its normal state of entropy. Hair loss will occur if you do not make efforts to prevent its return. You must continue to maintain your hair treatment through the use of the LEIMO products. 23. Do I need to use all of the LEIMO Personal Hair Laser Starter Kit products? However, when all the products are used together, the best results are obtained. Your hair is important, so give it the best chance! 24. Can I use laser therapy if I am pregnant or have a pre-existing medical condition? Only use the LEIMO Personal Hair Laser Starter Kit as directed. 25. I experience a burning sensation, itching or redness on my scalp using the LEIMO Scalp Therapy Day Treatment, is this normal? All the ingredients in the LEIMO Scalp Therapy Day Treatment are made from natural sources. The active ingredient in the Scalp Therapy Day Treatment is designed to act as a vasodilator to the hair follicle capillaries. If the Scalp Therapy Day Treatment is applied to a warm scalp, the effect is exacerbate in some cases and the feeling of a “stinging” or “burning” or “itching” nature is similar to using Dencorub or Deep Heat (sport gels or creams). The feeling passes relatively quickly and will leave no lasting effects. You must remember to use the Scalp Therapy Day Treatment on a “cool dry scalp”. This will minimize the effect burning sensation, itching or redness, if you are inclined to be effected in this manner.
